| so i just signed up for a half marathon... 13.1 miles! it's gonna be one of the hardest things i've ever done but with training hopefully i can do it :) any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated... i just did a 5k run this morning so that was a good start on a baseline assessment of my fitness level. extremely nervous!!!

| sigh* i was placed up in kaiser redwood city for my 2 week clinical, but then i just got this email saying it was cancelled... i really hope i can be up north... i want to be there before flora and jeff's wedding, i want to stay home for the cal game too... ugh, i hate to be a whiny girl but this freaking sucks! no takesy backseys! geez!

| the other day, we had a librarian come in and teach us how to research articles through databases on the web... it's amazing how far technology has come... i'm sitting there in class, and the librarian is teaching us how to IM her so we can have our questions answered right away!!! man, when i was younger, i had to turn in homework that was copied from a ditto machine and my hands used to turn purple from the ink!!! even in high school, i was one of the last people to have internet, and now if you don't have an email address, you can't access assignments that are due in class. oh yeah, and i just figured out my phone reads text messages out loud for me *^_^* technology... can't live without it... sigh*
